These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ObjectBox cloud storage platform operated at objectbox.online ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full.
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you warrant that you have authority to bind that organization.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at security@objectbox.online if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree not to use the Service to:
You retain full ownership of files you upload. We do not access, scan, or share your content except as required to operate the Service or comply with valid legal process. End-to-end encrypted files cannot be accessed by ObjectBox personnel.
Files are stored in accordance with your selected plan. Upon account termination, we retain your data for 30 days to allow retrieval, after which it is permanently deleted from all active storage systems and backups.
We target 99.99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are available within 14 days of an upgrade if you are unsatisfied.
The ObjectBox name, logo, and all related trademarks, designs, and software are the property of ObjectBox and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.
Either party may terminate at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, subject to the data retention period described above.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ObjectBox's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
